		<description>First you will have to knock down the gloss by either sanding or using Paseo deglosser.  Since you want to stain it, you will have to sand it down to the bare wood.  Then you can use a wipe on stain and apply it until you have the color saturation you desire.  Then you will have to seal it with a non-yellowing UVA/UVB protecting polyurethane with a couple of coats.
